Resumé Contact Me Thoughts On Design

This piece is an online version of an old fashioned invitation to a "museum event."

I wanted to keep the file size small, so I rendered a 3D animation as a silhouette, and vectorized the images. I also used a limited set of animation art that gets extra play by moving, scaling, and cycling the same frames. Simple masking techniques combine with the fire movie adds drama—the perfect compliment to the use of silhouette.

Plus, the addition of a JavaScript that shakes the window definitely grabs the attention of the viewer and gives the animation of the dinosaur more weight.

This flash piece for Dinosaurs Alive!
is a great use of simple elements and 3D vectorized animation.
